DETAILS: The newly renovated Remick Barn is an ideal small venue for listening. Heated, air-conditioned, it has full handicap access, and a small kitchen so there will be some beverages, snacks and refreshments, though no meals. It is very easy to find, and there is plenty of free parking. it is a perfect family environment. Travel time from Portsmouth NH is about 11 minutes.

About Harvey Reid & Joyce Andersen: This will be Reid & Andersen's first York Holiday concert, and the antique fireplace and 1834 wood beams in the Remick Barn will take you back to a New England Christmas from long ago.

Reid is a former national acoustic guitar and autoharp champion who is one of the Seacoast's best-known musicians. He has released 19 highly-acclaimed recordings of acoustic music, and his best-selling CD is his Christmas album "The Heart of the Minstrel on Christmas Day." Guitar Player Magazine called him "... a giant of the steel strings" and Acoustic Guitar Magazine: "...one of the true treasures of American acoustic music ." Andersen is a rising star in the acoustic music world who has recently released her 4th solo CD.
