Harvey Reid & Joyce Andersen

First Parish Church, Dover NH

Message from Harvey & Joyce about the weather...
We are aware they are forecasting snow for Dec 19 when we have our Holiday concert in Dover NH. We have been driving to concerts through snowstorms for decades, and just accept that it takes longer to get there and that there will be fewer people present. The news media has been hyping storms more than ever, and there are no significant hills between us and the concert, so at this point, with local forecasts for Dover showing 2 to 4 inches Friday and a total of 6 inches by morning, we figure it's still doable. (We will toss a shovel and some warm clothes in the car.) This is the only income we have and there is usually no way to reschedule holiday shows. Our promotion, production & insurance costs are fixed, and our preparation time and the energy we devote to the show can't be refunded or reimbursed.

We hope to see you there, and we understand if you decide to stay home. Christmas concerts are extra sweet when it is snowing... We will likely decide to start right on time and also shorten the show a bit if it is snowing hard..."

Merry Christmas
