About Jake Armerding: Since establishing himself as a fiddle virtuoso in the Northern Lights bluegrass band at age 14, Jake Armerding has expanded his musical vision considerably. Also a fine guitarist, mandolinist and songwriter, Armerding has emerged at the forefront of the Boston/New York singer-songwriter new folk movement. The Boston Globe said "Armerding is the most gifted and promising songwriter to emerge from the Boston folk scene in years."
