About Preston Reed: Preston Reed has made a name for himself as a solo guitarist for over 20 years, recording 14 solo albums, touring internationally, and revolutionizing the art of guitar playing. His explorations of the two-handed tapping and a percussion-based style, and his profound compositions in that idiom have astounded audiences, critics and fellow musicians around the world and brought him to the forefront of experimental acoustic guitar. Be prepared to be completely amazed at the whole new world of sounds he produces from a single guitar, using innovative tunings, techniques and percussive grooves rather than just electronic effects. Critics have called him "...an entire rhythm section," and hailed him as a world leader in creating new roles, compositions and techniques for the instrument.
