David Surette - A New Hampshire native, David is one of the world’s most respected players and arrangers of Celtic fingerstyle guitar, yet he is also a brilliant flatpicker, blues and ragtime picker and a master mandolin and bouzouki player. He first made a name playing in many of New England traditional dance bands, and has played on innumerable recording sessions. David is also one of the area’s busiest teachers.

Peter Albert -A lifelong Maine resident, Peter has played guitar for over 30 years. After playing 60’s rock and forming a blues band, he immersed himself in classical guitar for 10 years before finding his eventual home in the world of composing and arranging for steel-string fingerstyle guitar. He is releasing his 2nd solo CD in 2003, and performs regularly in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Bob Halperin - Bob is most known for his intricate acoustic blues and slide work, but over his long career he has also played and sung in many blues, jug, zydeco and folk bands. He has recorded one solo CD, and done a great deal of session work during his years in Cambridge MA and in the Seacoast area. He studied with Rev. Gary Davis, and has performed with many notable musicians.

Roger Williams
- Roger is one of the true masters of the dobro or resonator guitar. Born in Presque Isle, Maine and raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts, he has been playing in bluegrass bands around the Seacoast and New England since the 1960’s, and toured Europe. His fiery style and rich tone are legendary, and he is also a fine songwriter.

Larry Simon
- Composing and performing guitar and ensemble work since the 1970’s, Larry has written for dance, film, video and theatre. After many years in New York, with an impressive resumé of recording, composing and performing credits (including performing at Lincoln Center, and with jazz legend David Sanborn) he has settled in Portsmouth, and done a great deal recently to nurture the local music scene, especially with his group Groove Bacteria, winners of “Best Jazz Act” in local polls.

Kevin Reams - From Southern Maine, Kevin has emerged as one of the Seacoast’s best young acoustic musicians, and gained regional notoriety for his work with the Celtic duo Awen. Most known for his Celtic fingerstyle guitar work, he is also a fine singer, bohdran and bouzouki player and has recently taken up the Native American flute.

Kingsley Durant - Kingsley has been playing acoustic and electric guitar since 1967. He moved to the Seacoast area in 1998, prior to which he lived and performed in Massachusetts, Virginia, and Ohio. He performs solo acoustic, with local jazz ensembles and jams, and with a rock band, the Number Two Pencils. He is a math teacher by trade, and has released one solo CD.
